We can usually source full text-articles and books from other libraries on your behalf via the inter-library request scheme.

To submit an inter library request:

  • Log into your Library Account
  • Click ‘Send a request’ in the main menu
  • Use the drop down menu to select whether you want to make a request for a book or journal article
  • Complete the form and click to agree to the copyright declaration
  • Click submit

We aim to supply within seven working days but it may take longer, so please plan ahead. Articles and chapters will be sent to your University email address. Books must be collected from The Hive.

PLEASE NOTE: If your article or chapter has been sent to you from the British Library, you will have a maximum of 30 days to download it before the link expires.  You can save the item to your PC or mobile device for up to 3 years.
