The table below sets out how many books you can borrow. Registering as a current University of Worcester student gives you automatic library membership. You will always need your ID card to borrow items, and Hive staff can help you if you require assistance.
|University Short Loan (orange labels)||University High Demand (blue labels)||Other items (no labels)|
|Loan period||2 days (not renewable)*||2 weeks||3 weeks|
|Fines payable once overdue||£3 per book, per day||15p per day||15p per day|
* Short Loan: 2 day loan period, with no renewals and a flat rate of £3 per overdue book per day.
If you are a student who is also a member of a Worcestershire public library, you should use your student ID card as your library card. Your student library account gives you access to University items in The Hive, as above, and will still allow you all of the benefits of a public library account at your local branch.
