The Hive is open to everyone. You can become a library member by speaking to a member of staff and showing ID with proof of address. Library membership gives you borrowing rights, access to computers and wifi, plus a range of study spaces in the building. We also give walk in access to a range of academic databases.
If your university is a member of the SCONUL Access scheme you might be eligible for increased borrowing rights for University books at The Hive. Use the application form on the SCONUL Access website to request membership of the scheme. You'll receive an email from your university library with details of the scheme. Bring that with you when you come to join The Hive.
