WRaP was established to provide a showcase for the research undertaken at the University of Worcester. WRaP provides a central collection of University of Worcester research and preserves this research for the future.

WRaP increases the visibility and impact of the research output of the University of Worcester, for example by enabling research outputs to be located by search engines (e.g. Google) which cross-search repositories at other universities in the United Kingdom and internationally.

WRaP facilitates the process of collating research outputs for the next (2020) REF exercise and will enable the University to meet HEFCE's Open Access requirements.
