The best way to avoid fines is to check your library account regularly. Go to ‘Library Account’ in your MyDay student portal. You will be logged in automatically: just wait a few seconds for that to happen. You’ll be able to renew items up to 9 times unless there is a reservation on them.
Staff can renew by logging in via the ‘Library Services’ button at www.worc.ac.uk/library. You’ll need your borrower number and PIN: contact email@example.com if you need these details. Your borrower number is your staff number plus the issue number on your staff card. Please note we can only send log in and other personal details to a University of Worcester email account i.e. @worc.ac.uk or @uni.worc.ac.uk.
Other ways to avoid fines:
- Keep your receipt from the issue machine and check the return dates.
- Make sure you check your University emails. You’ll receive a courtesy email reminder to your University account 2 days before items are due back. These emails can be forwarded to a personal account. Please note: email reminders are a courtesy only and non-receipt is not a reason to waive fines.
