You need to be logged in to reserve a book. Log in using the Library Account button in the top right corner of the Library Services website, then use the library catalogue to find the item you want, and reserve it. There's a video at the bottom of this FAQ that explains all.
- 3-week loan items (usually listed on the catalogue as ANF Paperback or similar) can be reserved while on loan or on the shelf, and can be collected from any Worcestershire library.
- 2-week loan items (usually University High Demand) can only be reserved when all copies of that item are on loan. A 2-week loan item can only be collected from the Hive (but can be returned to any Worcestershire library).
- If you place a reservation on something which has both 2- and 3-week copies available, only the 3-week copy will be reserved, even if there are High Demand 2-week copies sitting on the shelf. Library Services recommend that you come to the library and get a 2-week copy rather than waiting for the 3-week copy to be returned.
- Short Loan items cannot be reserved.
The loan types specified above are visible only in the classic catalogue, not Library Search. Please click Expand All in the catalogue to see which loan types an item is available in.
