You'll find the Teaching Collection in The Hive, Level 1, at the far end of the Children's Library (near The Studio).

It contains a range of resources for teachers, students, practitioners and educators, including artefact collections, picture books, big books, and textbooks. These items can be borrowed in the same way as any other library item (although some items might be too big for the machines, so take them to a member of Hive staff).

All items are three-week loan so available to borrow by anyone who is a member of the library: staff, student or community. You will find seating and movable picturebook boxes so you can work with, discuss and browse the resources.

You can use the library catalogue to search the collection. Use The Hive Teaching Collection filter found at the top of the screen (this is pre-selected if using the link provided). Browsing the collection in person is highly recommended.

See our Teaching Collection webpage for more information.
