The suitability of any tool will depend on your discipline and methodology (qualitative or quantitative).

We like Cardiff University's critical appraisal checklists. Here you'll find SURE and CASP, two tools for critical appraisal of systematic reviews. There are also versions for different types of studies, including qualitative views, observations and economic evaluation.

More information about CASP (Critical Appraisal Skills Programme) is available on the CASP website. There are also more recommendations from your librarians on the Allied Health and Community subject guide.
