In an APA 7th edition reference, your DOI (Digital Object Identifier) should be formatted as in the example below:

Pederson, P.B., & Pope, M. (2010). Inclusive cultural empathy for successful global leadership. American
Psychologist, 65(8), 841-854. https://doi.org/10.1037/0003-066X.65.8.841

Note the following:

  • DOIs (and URLs) should be presented as hyperlinks
  • Because hyperlinks lead readers directly to the content, you do not need to precede them with "Retrieved from"
