Q. How do I renew my books?

You can renew a borrowed book up to nine times as long as nobody else has reserved it.

To renew your books online:

  1. Go to the Library Services website library http://library.worc.ac.uk
  2. Select the tab for "Using The Hive" and then "Library Account"
  3. Select "Login to My Account" (from the top of the page) and log in with your university details
  4. Select the Loans tab
  5. Select the items you wish to renew or select "Renew All" to renew everything.  Then select the renew button.
  6. Check the new return date and read any messages. The message "Item has holds" means that another customer is waiting for this book and you will need to return it by the date shown.
  7. Any problems, please get in touch at askalibrarian@worc.ac.uk

Check out our video (1.08) demonstrating how to renew a book.

You can also renew your library loans in person at The Hive or any Worcestershire branch library.
