The book I am using has different authors for different chapters
If the book you are using has different authors for different chapters reference each chapter that you refer to individually in order to give credit to the creator/ author. To do this follow the guidelines for referencing a chapter in an edited book.
Where can I find the information I need for my book reference?
In addition to the information on the front cover, you will find referencing information on the title page and the copyright page of a book. The title page is a few pages into a book or ebook. It will have the title of the book, details of the book author(s) or editor(s), and the name of the publisher. Sometimes the place of publication will be underneath the publisher's name. The copyright page will have the date of publication, the edition and the place of publication. The date you want is the most recent date of publication (not reprint). To find this, look for the Copyright symbol and choose the most recent date next to that symbol. If there is only one date by the Copyright symbol, the book is a first edition and you don't need to include edition information in your reference. To find place of publication, look for the address of the publisher. Give the town or city from that address.
