A good reference generator like ZoteroBib or MyBib can be useful, but be sure to use the correct referencing style. Check which style is needed for your course.
Always check that references produced by a reference generator are correct. References produced by MyBib often need a bit of editing and references produced by any reference generator will benefit from a bit of editing from time to time
